GASTRO BAR BY BURGEON @ TAMAN MAYANG

January 18, 2016 by StrawberrY Gal

Gastro Bar, By Burgeon serves modern fusion cuisine, fine-dining style. And, Gastro Bar By Burgeon is the result of a dramatic overhaul, replacing PJ’s Ribs At The Burgeon, which launched in June 2015. This round, we are excited about the new changes and we are here to sample their lovely delights.
Imperial Prawn (RM 32)
The Spring Roll is well deep fried till perfectionist with the minced Grilled Prawn & Century Eggs, Fresh Rocket, Ginger and Poppy Seeds in it. The taste comes simply crunchy at the bites and inside remains it juiciness.
All-Day (RM 28)
The quail egg served together with the quill egg caramelized orange, masala hash brown, butter spinach with the miso and yuzu Hollandaise with it. Uniquely presented!
Ikan Bakar (RM 48)
I am indeed impressed on the ikan bakar  where the grilled stingray is served with the truffle black pepper and caper sauce and topped with the sweet coconut flakes
The Egg (RM 22)
The Poached Egg is being served with Truffle Oil, Beetroot and Orange Reduction, Crispy Pancetta, Balsamic Reduction. It is pretty unique and nice.
Choplets (RM 58)
New Zealand Lamb Cutlets is cooked with perfection with Tequila, Walnut & Cranberries and the Jalapeno Hot Sauce. Awesomely good with the tender juicy meat.
Beef Tartare (RM 68)
The Black Angus Tenderloin is served with the Herb Baguette, Sundried Tomato, Confict Yolk of Quill Egg
Mushroom Cake (RM 28)
The dish is pretty unique where the cake is made with shiitake mushroom, rosemary gel, coconut and white chocolate suace and walnuts. We love it so much.
Pear & Chardonnay (RM 38)
I love the way it is served with the poached pear, banana and parsley crumbs together with the apple-chardonnay ice cream and meringue. Awesomely good!
And not just that, they have variety of cocktail to try too. We sampled some of the choices here
Ruby Woo (RM 38)
Rose, Raspberry, Hot Sauce, Lime , Ginger Ale, Gin
Mirage (RM 48)
Guava, Cilantro ,Espresso, Egg White, Tequila, and Irish Wiskey
The restaurant has reserved a row of complimentary street-side parking spaces for its patrons, so feel free to drive here and you will have a great service and have your  parking take care for.
Important note: No bookings are required for the time being. For men – no slippers and shorts; Ladies, dress as you’d like.
