CHINESE NEW YEAR DELIGHTS AT HOI KING HEEN

Celebrate the prosperous Year of the Monkey at Hoi King Heen. Award-winning Executive Chinese Chef Leung Fai Hung has prepared a selection of auspicious delicacies and homemade Chinese New Year Puddings to bring you good fortune and best wishes. 
Chinese New Year Specialties
·        Braised assorted dried seafood with chicken and roasted goose 
(served for 6 persons)
·        Stewed dried oyster with shrimp paste and pork
·        Braised bean curd rolls with assorted preserved meat
·        Sautéed lobster with black bean sauce and pine nuts
·        Stir-fried sliced abalone with dried lily, sweet potato and asparagus
·        Steamed egg white with bird’s nest and spinach puree
·        Sautéed mandarin fish rolls with beef
·        Sweet and sour Spanish Duroc pork and pomelo peel
·        Stewed Tibetan yak knee
·        Stewed Tibetan brisket of lamb with bamboo shoots and mushrooms
Available from now until February 29, 2016.
To get into the spirits of Chinese New Year, a traditional lion dance will be performed at the hotel lobby on February 9th while all guests will receive a pair of complimentary Fai Chun, the traditional Chinese messages hand-written on red paper, during February 1st to 7th. God of Fortune will also visit and give red packets with chocolate coins to guests during February 8th to 10th.
Exquisite Chinese New Year Puddings
The elegantly-packaged homemade puddings make the perfect gifts for business partners, family and friends to start the Year of the Monkey. This year, Chef Leung Fai Hung and his team have newly created the “Hawthorn Pudding” based on the well-loved Hoi King Heen signature dessert – “Chilled Hawthorn Rolls”. What’s more, the popularity of last year’s most desired flavour – “Sweet Potato and Sugar Cane Pudding” will return again.  Traditional flavours including “Turnip Pudding” and “Taro Pudding” are also available.
