ISLAND SHANGRI-LA, HONG KONG CELEBRATES THE HOLIDAY SEASON WITH “MCDULL TWINKLE TWINKLE LITTLE PIG” HAND WARMER AND A MYRIAD OF FESTIVE ACTIVITIES

November 5, 2015 by StrawberrY Gal

This festive season, Island Shangri-La, Hong Kong has prepared a myriad of celebratory activities, including a charity sale of the McDull plush hand warmer, countdown parties, as well as a dazzling selection of dining offers, gourmet hampers and holiday gifts.

“McDull Twinkle Twinkle Little Pig” Plush Hand Warmer Charity Sale
Following its successful collaborations over the last two years with McMug and McDull, Island Shangri-La, Hong Kong has once again invited renowned local illustrator Alice Mak to create a well-loved Christmas gift using the adorable McDull, who has transformed into a little angel to spread starlight and warmth to all during this festive season.  Concealed inside the cloud on which McDull stands is a star-shaped microwavable hand warmer, which can also be used as a glow-in-the-dark Christmas tree ornament.

Available at the lobby festive counter and all restaurants of Island Shangri-La, Hong Kong starting mid-November, the limited-edition “McDull Twinkle Twinkle Little Pig” plush hand warmer is priced at HK$200 each.  Guests can also send this perfect Christmas gift to friends and family through the online purchase platform at www.buys.hk/island-shangri-la/mcdull-angel (online purchase will be available from 18 November 2015).  Proceeds from the sale will go directly to the hotel’s charity partner, Heep Hong Society – one of Hong Kong’s largest service providers of early intervention and education for children with autism and specific learning difficulties.
