BHMASIA EXPANDING ITS PRESENCE IN THAILAND WITH THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE X2 CHIANG MAI RIVERSIDE HOTEL

November 13, 2015 by StrawberrY Gal

Bespoke Hospitality Management Asia (www.BHMAsia.com) adds another property to its growing portfolio of X2 luxury accommodations. Construction is underway on the company’s first hotel in Thailand’s cultural capital, Chiang Mai. The X2 brand (www.X2Lobby.com) has a well-earned reputation for building and managing properties of uncompromising luxury, and the X2 Chiang Mai Riverside Hotel is no exception.

The groundbreaking ceremony to celebrate the start of the construction of the  X2 Chiang Mai Riverside Hotel took place on Friday 23 October. In keeping with the brand’s strategic focus on selecting only the finest, well-placed locations, the hotel is situated on the tranquil banks of the Ping River. The hotel provides a balance of serenity with a dash of the vibrant Chiang Mai city center just minutes away.

The luxury hotel will offer a unique design that blends modern elements with the traditional Lanna style that is characteristic of Northern Thailand. The trendy 5-story hotel will feature 30 elegantly designed suites. Nature takes center stage as the courtyard of the hotel will be interspersed with 100-year-old tamarind trees, while a rooftop infinity pool will offer wide views of the Ping river. Guests will enjoy the luxurious X2 Spa and fitness facilities, as well as fine dining in the signature 4K restaurant. The Riverside Jazz Bar will prove to be a popular venue for hotel guests and residents of Chiang Mai alike, with local and regional musicians performing live. For those with a discerning taste for fine wine, the Riverside Wine Terrace will feature one of the widest selections of wines in the city. With its floor to ceiling windows, the Riverside Wine Terrace will offer guests a delightful ambiance with its sweeping views of the Ping River.

“With the continued growth of BHMAsia and the X2 brand across South-East Asia and Australia, we are excited to add another iconic property to our collection of luxury accommodations. Together with our villas in the North Gate, South Gate and Nimman areas of Chiang Mai, the X2 Chiang Mai Riverside will allow us to give our customers a true boutique design hotel experience with our first X2 hotel in Chiang Mai.” said Anthony McDonald, CEO of Bespoke Hospitality Management Asia.
The X2 Chiang Mai Riverside hotel is scheduled to open in 2017.
