WANDA HOTELS & RESORTS NAMED “BEST HOTEL GROUPS OF ASIA” AT 2015 AHF ASIA HOTEL AWARDS

October 18, 2015 by StrawberrY Gal

Wanda Hotels & Resorts was named the “Best Hotel Groups of Asia” at 2015 AHF Asia Hotel Awards. Widely considered as one of the most important hotel investment awards in the industry, the accolade has recognized the outstanding achievements of Wanda Hotels & Resorts over the past years, and its leading position in the hospitality industry in China and the rest of Asia.

Judged by a panel of top industry experts who reviewed each entry against the most stringent criteria, this year’s AHF Asia Hotel Awards celebrated the best in Asian hospitality with 30 awards across five categories. The three-day summit, concluded on September 24 in Beijing, brought together the region’s top hoteliers, as well as members of the domestic and international press, from over 40 countries.

“We feel very privileged to receive this prestigious award,” says Mr. Ilja Poepper, Vice President of Sales & Marketing, Wanda Hotels & Resort. “The award is a testament to our commitment to delivering the highest standard of hospitality, which is deeply rooted in the Chinese culture. We will continue to uphold these values to provide the unique Wanda experience to guests from China and around the world.”

Since 2012, with six overseas projects currently in the pipeline, Wanda Hotels & Resorts has been expanding rapidly in China and abroad. By the end of 2015, the group’s hotel portfolio will include 84 five-star hotels in China, with 46 self-managed hotels under three distinct brands – Wanda Realm, Wanda Vista and Wanda Reign.
