PINCE & PINTS @ JALAN TELAWI 5, BANGSAR

October 26, 2015 by StrawberrY Gal

PINCE & PINTS

After their success in Sinapore which is reportedly queued for hours for a table at Pince & Pints, they are now open in Malaysia! Yes in MALAYSIA and it is at BANGSAR where they are wedges between Ril’s and Cosans Coffee. Bursting their air flown lobsters all the way from Boston, Maine and Canada twice a week, their lobster are kept on site not more than a week .

PINCE & PINTS

Their KL outlet has a menu of just five dishes, which includes the exclusive-to-KL lobster noodles alongside grilled or steamed lobster, chilli lobster with fried mantou, and the aforementioned lobster roll. Each dish uses one whole lobster and is priced at RM158++.

PINCE & PINTS

One of their signatures is the New England-style Lobster Roll where it is showcasing tender steamed chunks of a whole lobster which including the claw meat marinated with mayo and topped with chopped chives. Stuffed in a butter-fried bun which is simply delious. Served together with a salad, fries and garlic aioli. Every flavour of it is simply amazing and delicious. Brings you with the Ocean-sweet delights !

Grilled Lobster
Next comes the inimitable lobster dish: Live Whole Lobster. Choose from either a grilled or steamed version. These two ways are the best of enjoying lobster where you can get the taste of the natural sweetness and freshness of the lobster. Served along with chef’s salad, straight cut fries and herbed butter sauce. And every mouthful is sinfully good and delicious.

I am falling in love with the Chilly Lobster where the chilly lobster is served together with the fried mantao. For those who want to get the additional mantao, it will be priced at RM 8 for a plate. The Chilly Lobster comes more creamy and sweet and the chilly sauce. Not those which is at the spicier version, but the taste is awesome and I love the sauce and keep dipping the mantao with it.

PINCE & PINTS
I found the Lobster Noodle comes slightly soggy perhaps because we took long to photograph it. Aside from the sogginess of the noodles, the lobster comes simply delicious.

As for the bar, you can expect an array of sweet, sour, bitter and dry cocktails, boutique wines from all over the world, and mocktail. Everything here is simply good and delicious. And Pince & Pints will open on October 9 at 5.30pm.
