THE GIANT PANDA PAVILION

Nested against the hill in Coloane, one of the famous attraction at the Seac Pai Van Park is the Macau Giant Panda Pavilion. Beautifully located at the hill area, you will get to experience and get your sigt with the two rare giant pandas, Kai Kai and Xin Xin which is among the 320 giant pandas living in breeding centers and zoos around the world and are part of an endangered species that has only 1600 left living in the wild.

The park is smply a huge one where you can have a relaxing walk around the area. It is a 3000 square meter state-of-the-art facility that comprises indoor activity quarters and an outdoor yard, as well as the logistic centers for the feeding and caring of the giant pandas.

Having received Kai Kai and Xin Xin as gifts from the Mainland Chinese government to commemorate the 10th anniversary of Macau’s reunification with China, the Macau government has committed to sharing the national treasures with the general public.

ADMISSION FEES
Admission to the pavilion is a mere MOP 10 (free for children 12 and under and for seniors 65 and above) and all proceeds from the ticket sales fund grants for education, research, and other projects supporting giant panda conservation work.

OPENING HOURS
10:00 – 13:00, 14:00 – 17:00 (last admission until 4:45 p.m.)
Closed on Mondays, admission at 6 intervals per day
Closed on Tuesdays if Monday is a public holiday.
