August 22, 2015 by StrawberrY Gal

Time past indeed fast and is time for mooncake again. Eastin Hotel PJ this year brings you with more flavours and with variety of ingredients and filling to satisfy the modern taste buds.
EASTIN PETALING JAYA
This year, Eastin Hotel PJ brings you with a healthier side of mooncake and they have 2 choices which is the Snow Skin and the Baked mooncakes. Well packaged elegantly, the mooncake indeed caught our attraction where they are served in a elegant packaging.

EASTIN PETALING JAYA

They have a variety mooncake to go for where they have the Crystal Purple Sweet Potato Paste, Crystal Durian Paste, Crystal Green Tea Paste with single yolk, Crystal Brown Sugar Ginger Tea Longan Paste and Crystal Custard Paste with Single Yolk. Each of them is at RM13/per piece while durian is at RM19/per piece

The Durian Paste Snowskin (RM 19/ piece)had made my day since I am a big fans of durian. The creamy custard Musang King comes with the intense flavours of the king of fruit and every mouthful is divinely good.

The other flavors like the Crystal Brown Sugar Ginger Tea Longan Paste Mini Mooncake (RM13/per piece) comes pretty unique with the fragrant of ginger with light sweetness.

Some special mooncake to savour includes the Crystal Custard Paste with Single Yolk Mini Mooncake (RM13/per piece) and Crystal Green Tea Paste with Single Yolk Mini Mooncake (RM13/per piece). Filled with the aromatic blend, it is indeed a good one to enjoy.

There are several other fillings that caught my attention too such as the Crystal Brown Sugar Ginger Tea Longan Paste Mini Mooncake (RM13/per piece). The lovely flavours which is well infused and every mouthful comes sinfully good.
EASTIN PETALING JAYA
As for this year, Eastin Petaling Jaya had also released 2 more new flavours which is the Red Dates Lotus Paste Mini Mooncake (RM13/per piece) and the Six Coarse Grains Lotus Paste Mini Mooncake (RM13/per piece).
EASTIN PETALING JAYA
The Red Dates Lotus Paste Mini Mooncake (RM13/per piece) is simply good and it is believe to be healthy too which red dates is said able to stimulate the production of white blood cells, which improves immunity and decreases the level of cholesterol in our bloodstream which helps to protect the liver.

As for the Six Coarse Grains Lotus Paste Mini Mooncake (RM13/per piece) is made from 6 types of essential nuts which is peanuts, walnuts, almonds, pistachios, sesames and melon seeds. All indeed well done with the rich contains of Omega 3.

For those who are still in love with the traditional mooncakes, you can have the Red Bean (RM 17) ,Lotus Paste with or without Single or Double Yolk (RM 19- RM 26) , Jade Custard(RM 23)and Assorted Fruit Nuts (RM 21). I found that it is not too sweet and suits for the older generation and those who are health conscious.
