THE POPWAY HOTEL OPENS IN TSIM SHA TSUI, HONG KONG.

July 23, 2015 by StrawberrY Gal

The Popway Hotel is a city-chic 63 room hotel located in the heart of the Kowloon district, in Tsim Sha Tsui. Owned and personally managed by Mr. David Lau, a local Hong Kong entrepreneur, the hotel prides itself on service standards and the art of hospitality.

The hotel’s excellent team is on hand 24/7, providing a warm welcome and assistance for business and leisure travelers. There are five available room types; these include the Superior Room, Deluxe Room, Studio Deluxe Room, Balcony Deluxe Room and the Popway Suite. The hotel is perfect for travellers popping into Hong Kong, with each room having free high-speed Internet access, a complimentary mini bar, an electronic safe and a smart high definition television with cable channels,

With a business meeting room, a gym, a free-to-use iMac in the lobby and the stunning harbor view from the Sky Deck Rooftop Lounge, every need is catered for.

Popcorn is a signature of the hotel, and guests are treated to the hotel’s signature varieties on arrival, as well as in the complimentary mini bar in each room.

Occupying such a central location means the hotel is a mere 50-minute bus ride from Hong Kong International Airport and close to all the major attractions of the city. This makes it ideal for those wishing to experience everything Hong Kong has to offer. With lots of malls close by such as THE ONE, K11 Art Mall, iSquare, DFS Galleria and Harbour City, it is also a perfect location for shoppers with cash to splash.

However, for those in need of a little break from shopping, Hong Kong has a wide array of cultural and educational experiences to offer. The Historical Museum, The Science Museum, The Art Museum and the Space Museum are all within walking distance of the hotel along with Two of Hong Kong’s major attractions, The Avenue of Stars and Heritage 1881.

For visitors hungry for a taste of Hong Kong there are plenty of place to go. Hong Kong is internationally renowned for its love of food! The Uptop Bistro on the 19th Floor and Sky Deck Rooftop Lounge of the hotel provide outstanding panoramic views, serving modern bistro classics. The western menu, created by notable young chef Yeung, makes use of classic techniques and Asian flavourings. They even inject the popcorn theme into some of the dishes.

Only a few minutes away are areas like the East TST Waterfront and Knutsford Terrace, both offer a great selection of restaurants and bars, perfect for those visitors wanting an evening out in Hong Kong.

Whether you stay in the room or go out exploring, Popway has something for everyone and every need.
