OKONOMI JAPANESE DINING @ PUBLIKA

March 3, 2015 by StrawberrY Gal

OKONOMI
Okonomi which is another new baby located Hartamas area is something to look after. The first Japanese restaurant in KL which allows you to customize you own maki, mix and match it as you like; in your way. That’s what they are famed for!

Instead of the traditional sushi menu, you can custom made your own sushi. Yes, you read it right and you can custom made your own sushi. There are three sizes to start with. Choose either Small, medium and large starting from RM 13.90. In here, you are allow to choose your topping, ingridients and also the sauces as well. If you are not adventurous to custom made your sushi, you can have yours from the menu too.
OKONOMI
The Seafood Supreme (RM26.90) is one of the highlight of the night. Made of urumaki, seaweed wrap, white rice, soft shell crab, Hokkaido crab meat, salmon, cucumber, cereal and yukke sauce. The sushi comes colorful and more tantalizing with the light spiciness from the spicy mentai in it.
OKONOMI
Tofu Salad (RM12.90) comes healthy where the greenies are topped with the velvety soft tofu on top. We enjoy the refreshing bites of the tofu salad.
OKONOMI
The Chicken Karaage (RM9.90) which is well deep fried till perfection with the fried marinated chicken breast with the oat breaded skin. Crispy in the outside and the juicy meat in the inside.
OKONOMI
Crab Korokke (RM9.90) which is being served is simply tempting. The breaded crabmeat is being deep fried till perfectionist with the poached butter and cream sauce. Nicely done and I can taste the savory bites of it. Delicious!
OKONOMI
Looking for some pasta, try their Spicy Seafood Pasta (RM 16.90) were they uses the Vietnamese Chlies to tantalize your tastebuds.Filled with loads of seafood, the angel hair pasta is simply satisfying and flavourful. Delicious !

OKONOMI
Macha Lovers Parfait (RM 18.90) served beautifully where green tea lovers would love their macha ice cream, mochi, red bean (azuki), jelly and a special macha chocolate bamboo stick. It is layered with kanten jelly and matcha syrup, corn flakes, garnished with red bean paste, rice mochi and whipped cream.

OKONOMI

We ended with the Matcha Lava Cake where the Matcha white chocolate is filled with the delicious matcha chocolate molten lava served with vanilla ice cream, homemade matcha chocolate sticks as well as the fresh strawberries, doused with powdered sugar.
