“FOIE GRAS AND LOBSTER FIESTA” SEAFOOD DINNER BUFFET AT CAFÉ ALLEGRO OF REGAL KOWLOON HOTEL

February 13, 2015 by StrawberrY Gal

Executive Chef Ray Lam of Regal Kowloon Hotel has incorporated “Foie Gras” and “Lobster” — these two sumptuous ingredients into the buffet menu and presented over 20 kinds of theme dishes for your extravagant enjoyment!  Foie Gras is one of the popular delicacies in French cuisine. The rich flavour and melt-in-your-month texture make it as an irresistible choice along the buffet table. On the other hand, fresh and bouncy lobster is one of the best seafood in the ocean. It can be baked, steamed or served as sashimi to satisfy the palates of different diners.

Recommendations of the culinary delights include Foie Gras Parfait with Brioche and Figs Jam and Tartar of Lobster with Smoked Caviar and Vodka Cream. The former provides guests with multiple enjoyments as the toast has absorbed the essence of the Foie Gras oil, then further complemented by the homemade sweet and sour figs jam. The latter stimulates both your vision and taste. Serving in a martini glass, the flavour of lobster meat is enhanced by the addition of fragrant vodka cream and on top, beautified with the smoked caviar. Lobster Salad and Foie Gras Terrine Pancake is another choice you shouldn’t miss. Guests will be happy to savour both silky smooth Foie Gras puree and fresh lobster meat on every mouthful. What a superb enjoyment!  For the Pan-seared Chicken Roll Stuffed with Foie Gras Mousse, Chicken and Foie Gras is a new combination. They are perfectly matched to excite everyone’s taste buds. To offer something different, the Chef has also blended the western Foie Gras into the Chinese dishes to provide Glutinous Rice and Preserved Meat with Foie Gras in Lotus Leaves and Stir-Fried Shrimp with Preserved Salty Egg Yolk and Foie Gras.

At the dazzling dessert counter, there are over 50 kinds of mouth-watering choices to satisfy your sweet tooth.  Not-to-be missed treats are Darjeeling Tea Pudding with Milk Chocolate Mousse, Passion Fruit Tiramisu, Lime Crème Brûlée and more. Popular items like Chocolate Fountain, freshly made Popcorn and Waffles are also awaiting you at the buffet counter!
