KUALA LUMPUR INTERNATIONAL TATTOO 2014: PARADE OF THE WORLD’S GREATEST CAVALRY STARS

Get set to be inspired by the greatest military parade ever held in Malaysia with exciting performances such as war dances, bag pipes and brass bands, precision marching, military demonstrations and artillery performances. These will be performed by the Royal Malaysian Police and the Royal Malaysian Army and trained soldiers and armed forces from other countries including Brunei Darussalam, India, Indonesia, Myanmar, New Zealand, Singapore, South Africa, South Korea, Thailand, Turkey, United Arab Emirates and United Kingdom.

The Kuala Lumpur International Tattoo 2014 parade is co-organised by Ministry of Tourism and Culture Malaysia (MOTAC) and the Malaysian Armed Forces (MAF), and is scheduled to be graced by the Yang di-Pertuan Agong and Raja Permaisuri Agong of Malaysia on 11 October 2014.

The military performance extravaganza will be held for three days from 10 October until 12 October 2014 at the Stadium Merdeka in Kuala Lumpur, combined with various performances in shopping centres around Malaysia. It is here that you can enthral your senses with the iconic formation displays. Feast on your eyes on the sheer precision of the military drills. Be mesmerised by the powerful orchestral quality music presentations.

KL International Tattoo 2014 is one of the major events in Visit Malaysia Year 2014, and is organised with the vision of promoting friendship and cooperation between Malaysia and its overseas counterparts. The event will certainly be a colourful array of festivities with the participants marching clad in their ceremonial uniforms, complete with all the shiny pins and gear.  The spectacular display aims to be a hit with both locals and international tourists, young and old alike.

To build the momentum of publicity and to get the public to know more about KL International Tattoo, MOTAC and the MAF have organised a series of KL International Tattoo 2014 pocket shows around Malaysia.
