UNDER THE TREE ASAM LAKSA @ SUNGAI ARA, PENANG

August 2, 2014 by StrawberrY Gal

LAKSA BELOW TREE

Nestled within a terrace house, there goes the laksa stall which had been there more than 10 years. It had been a long long time I spotted this stall when I am back from home but always I had not get to buy them as it is not to convenient to drive there. The Asam Laksa can opt to have some add ons where you can get it serve together with Popiah & Chicken Wings.
LAKSA BELOW TREE
A truly authentic Penang Assam Laksa (RM3.30 (S)) comes to our favorite where the asam laksa comes savory, spuct and sweet in it. The hearty bowl of asam laksa comes in quite a generous portion where the laksa brooth is good with the mackarel fish in it. Topped with slice of pineapple, onions, and also bunga kantan together, it is jus so good which I could not hesitate to order my second bowl of laksa.
LAKSA BELOW TREE
We do add a bowl of crunchy deep fried chicken pieces. The chicken pieces come juicy and crunchy which is my favorie too. Well, we do order some popiah to dip together with the laksa too.
LAKSA BELOW TREE
Ends your laksa with a bowl of hearty cooling red bean soup with it. It is so nice especially during the hot weather.
