MIDDLE EASTERN MYSTIQUE AT SIGI’S BAR AND GRILL, GOLDEN SANDS RESORT, PENANG

Sigi’s Bar and Grill at Golden Sands Resort, Penang’s premier four-star deluxe resort, will be offering a Middle Eastern Buffet every Monday and Tuesday night during the month of August. Guests at the buffet can expect exotic food and great ambience. Indulge in the best of Middle Eastern Cuisine at Sigi’s Bar and Grill  complete with entertainment by belly dancers.

 The most notable dishes from countries like Saudi Arabia, Iran, Egypt and Morocco will be featured in the buffet. Diners will be spoilt for choice with fabulous options of appetizers, salads, soups, authentic Middle Eastern breads and substantial grills. Diners can indulge in tabouleh (parsley, tomato and cracked wheat), fattoush (tomato, onion, lettuce, parsley topped with crisp bread), baba ghanoush (charbroiled egg plant paste blended with tahineh paste), warak enab (stuffed vine leaves in brine), shorba ades (lentil soup) harirah (Moroccan vegetable and tomato soup), falafel (Egyptian chick pea patties), dawood basha (meat ball with tomato sauce). Grilled delights include chicken shawarma with Arabic flat bread and condiments and Iranian Beef Kofta. Desserts include divinely delicious treats like um ali (puff pastry with hot milk, fresh cream and nuts), leally Lebanon (rice pudding with honey and fruit) and basboussa (semolina cake).

The Middle Eastern Buffet Dinner at Sigi’s Bar and Grill On The Beach is available every Monday and Tuesday from 1 to 31 August, 2014. The buffet, which is from 7pm to 10pm, is priced at RM 77++ per person (adult) and RM 38.50++ per child (6 to 11 years old). For reservations, please call 04-886 1852.
