HARBOUR RESTAURANT PRESENTS “DUO OF WAGYU” DINNER BUFFET

August 21, 2014 By StrawberrY Gal - Food News Leave a Comment

Wagyu is well known for its fine muscle fiber, superior marbling and tender texture. Starting from 1 September 2014, a rich selection of specialties incorporating Kagoshima A3 wagyu and Australian M6 wagyu will be served at Harbour Restaurant of The Harbourview to satisfy the cravings of all beef enthusiasts.

Two highly recommended appetizers in “Duo of Wagyu” Dinner Buffet are Slow-grilled Wagyu Beef with Daikon Salad and Yuzu Dressing and Wagyu Beef and Eggplant in Aged Vinegar. The former’s beef is grilled at 110 degree Celsius in a slow-cooking style to make the half-cooked beef melt-in-your-mouth. While for the latter, the delicately concocted sour and spicy vinegar dressing has perfectly added an appetizing flavour to both the beef and eggplant. Also under the spotlight is the aromatic and tender Grilled Kagoshima A3 Wagyu Beef prepared a la minute. The marbling of the beef will give you a deep satisfaction with its richness and fragrance, each patron will be offered one complimentary serving of this dish. Don’t forget to sample our palate-delighting Braised Wagyu Cheek with Red Miso Sauce which our Executive Chef has put a great deal of time and effort to prepare. Having been braised in a specially prepared sauce for 8 hours, the wagyu cheek has fully absorbed the essence of the tangy sauce and it’s sure to impress you with its meaty tanginess. In addition to the above, Stewed Wagyu Brisket in Soup and Curry Wagyu Beef Japanese Style will be unlimitedly offered while Wagyu Burger Steak will be served on alternative basis as one of the hot dishes in the buffet. Beef lovers will be pleased by the mesmerizing tastes of the above wagyu offerings undoubtedly.

What’s more, apart from the regular sushi offerings, Wagyu Beef Sushi will also be available at the Sushi and Sashimi Counter to please your palate. Meanwhile, Scallop, Sweet Shrimp, Surf Clam, Herring, Salmon and more sashimi selections are served at the counter on rotation basis. 8 kinds of seafood including New Zealand Oysters, French Edible Crabs, Canadian Rock Crabs, Snow Crab Legs and French Golden Sea Whelks are available in the jet-fresh Assorted Seafood Platter to tempt you with their briny sweetness. Another highlight is the sizzling Grill Counter. Meaty and tasty, Grilled Chicken Soft Bone Sausage, Grilled Baby Squid and Grilled Lamb Chop will be prepared right in front of you! Other food counters such as Cheese Counter and Salad Bar are also available to offer you the deepest satisfaction.

Seductive desserts always mark a perfect end to a lavish buffet. The most sought-after dessert must be our 8 flavours of MOVENPICK Ice Cream, a brand-new Pear Sorbet is now available for your indulgence! Another highlighted dessert is our newly presented Chocolate Layer Cake. With layers of vanilla crème brulee, chocolate parfait and chocolate sponge cake and topped with a thick chocolate glace, chocoholics are definitely hard to resist this cake. Other hot-picks such as Pistachio Gateau, Baked Sago and Coconut Pudding, Black Sesame Cream Roll, Chocolate Fountain and more are also ready to make your sweet tooth perfectly satisfied!

Come experience a deluxe culinary journey of Wagyu at Harbour Restaurant with your beloved family and friends! “Duo of Wagyu” Dinner Buffet is available from 1 September to 31 October from 6:30pm to 9:30pm daily.
