FASHION IN FUSION SHOWCASE AT QUEENSBAY MALL

July 22, 2014 by StrawberrY Gal

Date: 26–29 July 2014
Time: 2.00pm–4.30pm
Venue: Ground Floor, South Zone, Queensbay Mall
This 1Malaysia Mega Sale Carnival (1MMSC) and Hari Raya Aidilfitri, Queensbay Mall will be sending a host of well-loved global fashion brands down the runway, parading the latest fashion collections over the four-day long holiday weekend.

The fashion event will truly be unlike any other, injecting a fusion of fashion, art and technology that cater to shoppers and tourists looking for fashionable bargains, as well as those doing their last-minute shopping for new Hari Raya outfits.

In partnership with The One Academy Penang, the showcase is planned in elaborated concepts of ultramodern theme and stunning 3D projection animations of hypercoloured doodles and creative artwork. The showcase with an extraordinary score to interactive fashion will also create a platform for young designers to demonstrate their talent and skills via LIVE projection on the backdrop as they get in action during the fashion showcase.

Each brand on the runway parade – Braun Büffel, Elle, Esprit, GAP, Obermain, Springfield, The Executive and Tiamo – will feature distinctive artworks that illustrate a unique connection between shoppers and the respective brand.

“We aim to bring these fashion showcases to a whole new level,” said Wendy Wong, Marketing Communications Manager of Queensbay Mall. “In a way, we are transforming a mundane runway backdrop into a giant canvas to engage shoppers and make them stop and enjoy the show.”

Shoppers who flood to Queensbay Mall over the long weekend holiday can expect to enjoy even more treats, where selected participating fashion brands will be giving away shopping vouchers during the Fashion In Fusion Showcase for shoppers to grab their favourite fashion inspirations from the runway at additional bargain.

So mark your calendar and be sure to join Queensbay Mall in celebration of Hari Raya with fabulous shopping treats!
