ZUMBA YOUR WAY TO FITNESS WITH SIZZLING NEW DANCE PARTNERS!

June 28, 2014 by StrawberrY Gal

Zumba has revolutionized fitness, combining exercise and dance in an exciting, fun, easy and effective workout, garnering the following of millions around the world. Celebrity Fitness has now taken Zumba to a whole new level with the introduction of Zumba Step and Zumba Sentao in Malaysia; complete with sizzling new dance partners.

Celebrity Fitness launched the two new Zumba classes at its “gym in the sky” in Lot 10 recently, with celebrities like Amran Ismail, Fiqrie, Danny One, Evan Siau, Orange Tan, Rickman Chia, Agnes Wong, Monkey D and many more being part of the explosive Zumba fitness-party led by Deno Au, the first-ever Zumba Jammer in Malaysia cum Group Fitness Manager of Celebrity Fitness Malaysia.
“Celebrity Fitness Malaysia does not just promote healthy living; we are also an academy that grooms talents. Through various specially organized training programmes, we encourage our instructors and trainers to always strive for the best and to consistently work to improve their skills by setting the standards high – ensuring quality service and training.” said Kris Malhotra, Country Group Fitness Manager of Celebrity Fitness Malaysia.

The explosive new Zumba Sentao infuses chair-based dance choreography with traditional fitness moves that include seated triceps dips, squats, lunges, push-ups and abdominal crunches. Using their own body weight, participants of Zumba Sentao will strengthen, balance and stabilize their core while simultaneously improving cardiovascular performance and enhancing muscle strength, definition and endurance.

Meanwhile, Zumba Step provides a gravity-defying blend of Zumba flavour, step aerobic variations and fitness movements set to infectious global beats, using the Step as your partner. Zumba Step combines the fun and energy of Zumba’s upbeat rhythms with heart-pumping aerobic step exercises that increases cardiovascular workout.
Zumba Step offers a balance of ZUMBA fitness (40 percent), dance (30 percent) and step aerobic moves (30 percent) to encourage participants to use more energy to lift their body weight against gravity, while keeping the moves easy-to-follow.

“The introduction of Zumba Sentao and Zumba Step by Celebrity Fitness in Malaysia is set to elevate the fitness-dance scene, by introducing two sizzling new dance partners – the chair and the Step. Zumba Sentao allows participants to perform both seated and standing toning exercises, burning up to 1,000 calories per hour. In addition to a significant interval workout, Zumba Step also strengthens muscles, specifically the lower body, while also aiding balance and coordination. Like all Zumba programmes, Zumba Sentao and Zumba Step are more than a physical workout – it is a transformation from the inside out,” said Deno Au-Yong, Zumba Jammer and Group Fitness Manager of Celebrity Fitness.
Zumba is a global lifestyle brand that fuses fitness, entertainment and culture into an exhilarating dance-party workout. Our Zumba classes blend upbeat world rhythms with easy-to-follow choreography to provide effective, total-body workouts.
This event was made possible with the following partners: Biogrow, Juice Works, Davidoff, Redken, Rexona, H2O, Uber-Men, Sunsweet Prunes, Vita Health, Spritzer, Krispy Kreme, CJ Photostudio, and Freskon.
