It was a triumphant moment for Silka Maytower Hotel & Serviced Residences on being accorded the Gold Achievement Award (3-Star Hotel), beating 12 other nominees vying under this category at the recently concluded 2014 Kuala Lumpur Mayor’s Tourism Awards (KLMTA 2014) ceremony.
Silka Maytower Hotel & Serviced Residences is located in the heart of Kuala Lumpur’s main commercial and entertainment districts. The hotel features stunning view of the city and the iconic Kuala Lumpur Tower through its 179 well-appointed guestrooms and suites. KLMTA 2014 is organised by Kuala Lumpur Municipal Council once every three years to acknowledge, recognise and reward outstanding establishments and individuals that best represent the epitome of excellence in their respective industry which meets world-class standards.
At this second edition of the KLMTA programme, a total of 32 awards were presented in 13 categories: Accommodation, Restaurant, Nightspot, Tourist Attraction, International Tour Operators, Shopping Mall, Print Media, Airlines, Front Liner, Merit Award, the Mayor’s Commendable Award, Medical Tourism and Events.
