HOU MEI YUEN, BUKIT JAMBUL

Hou Mei Yuen is one of the popular places to dine for Penangties. I knowing this shop is during my working days in Penang and it has been a long time since I visited the shop. Hou Mei Yuen is nothing much to boost about on its deco as it is a simple restaurant which serves pan mee as well as some dim sums.

The selection of pan mee is not really a wide one and they only have 2 choices of noodles which is the thick one and the thin one. The pan mee is served either in soup or dry.
We ordered one with soup and another is the dry pan mee. The pan mee is being served with the minced meat, fish balls, vegetables and also black fangus. The soup comes well where it is flavorful as well as bring out the whole taste of pan mee.

As for the dried pan mee, I felt the taste is slightly blend but after added with some soup in it, the taste makes it more flavourful.

As for the dim sum, the taste is pretty standard and there is nothing much to complain about.
