Gokuraku Ramen had famed to be one of the nice ramen in Klang Valley and now they bring you with more excitement where they comes up with the “Horikiri Style” Ramen. Located in Mid Valley, the ramen shop is just next to the AEON Jusco at Level 2. Easily spotted with the brown theme wood color alike traditional Japanese Restaurant, the restaurant give us a warm spacious interior with the brown wooden theme. At the outside, you can spot the beautiful sophicated machine which is used to produce their fresh ramen daily to all their Gokuraku outlets.

We started with the 5 star Kakuni Ramen (RM 26.90) where the wholesome bowl of ramen is just perfect for the cold weather. The hearty porklicious soup added with the fish powder imported all the way from Japan. The delicious pork soup is cooked for 12 hours with the medium strong fire and it is topped with the black garlic oil with it. The awesome noodles comes with bamboo shoot, soft, smooth lava egg as well as a generous portion braised pork belly with it. It is served with the shredded chilly on top leaving us with a beautiful presentation. As for the soup, It is thick and flavourful and just good to enjoy with the slurpy ramen together with it.

Next comes the Tan Tan Ramen (RM 13.90). The tan tan ramen is being served with the pine nuts, Japanese curry paste, curry powder with the sesame seeds together. Wth the added gome dressing with it; the tan tan ramen comes fragrant and with the fiercy kick with dried ramen. Not only that, the ramen is being served tgether with the minced porky delights and also sliced cucumber which make it even better taste.

The Yaki Gyoza (RM 9.90) is served simply creative with the crispy edges with the juicy gyoza that melts in the mouth. The gyoza is indeed a good one with the shredded vegetables and minced meat in it. Packed with juiciness!

The GRR Meatballs ( 5 pcs: RM 5; 10 pcs : RM 10; 20pcs: RM 17) is one of the recommendations. The crispy skin meatballs with the juicy filling where in it they are packed with the minced pork, onions and chopped vegetables in it. Deep frieed till perfection; the meat ball is then being drenched with their homemade tamarind sauce with the touch of vinegar in it.

Gokuraku also comes up with some Chef’s Special course Meal where we had the set C (RM 119.90) which is good to be served for 3 to 4 pax.

Personally, I love the Aburi Char Siew which brings us a juicy chew on the char siew itself. The gyoza which is being served is also a nice one with the twist of spiciness with it is simply addictive. Each item is well served making our tummy bloated after the heavy meals.

Well, Gokuraku comes out with some vouchers for Malaysianfoodie.com readers to redeem. Easy simply way with no additional purchased needed.

You will get the 50 % off for the chewy GRR meatballs. Just print them and present to the patrons when you make your order there
