Rasa Sayang Resort & Spa is a timeless resort which was built back in 1973 with around the 8 majestic rain forest trees by the sea and it is the first ever five star hotels in Malaysia. It was indeed a dream come true for to have a lovely stay since I heard of the famous hotel since I am a kid.
The hotel marked a beautiful design with the regal looked of the Minangkabau roof which gives a distinctive symbolizes of the hotel with the unique architecture. Well, not looking at the design and architecture, Rasa Sayang Resort & Spa welcomes us with their great facailities where they have the lovely Spice market Café, a redesigned swimming pool as well as a beautiful landscape.
Staying in the hotel brings us with the relaxing environment where you can enjoy the beautiful eveironment of flora and foliage that includes the fruiting trees, graceful bamboo, palm trees and exotic tropical flowers too. The beautiful greenies bring us with such a captivating view and it is simply relaxing when you hear the birds singing and churping during the awesome stay.
This time, with our stay with our little girl is pretty fun where little Grace had a splendid time in the hotel. Our stay for this round is the garden wing where it is more focuses on family friendly service.
The Garden Wing features 189 rooms which is well designed with family in the mind. The beautiful room captures the lovely sight of the of the rainforest just in front of us with the great singing birds with the blue ocean with the wave singing along. Perfect for a relaxing moment, taking a nap by the balcony and looking at the lovely view is such a pleasure.
Well,when arrived at the hotel, we are served with the lemongrass juice quenching the thirstiness and the refreshing taste before we heads to our room. The check-in is pretty fast and professionally done with a smile and I can feel I do “rasa sayang” (translated: pampered). Our bags are held to the room with care and also they had prepared a little baby cod for Grace too. She gets her favorite travel set of toiletry from the hotel where we have the Johnson & Johnson kit to pamper her bath tonight.
Bed are huge as usual and the rooms are simply silky clean. Completed with the basic necessities where you can pamper your self with the ASTRO Channels where we have lots of channels to get relaxed. Well, Little Grace hooked with the Disney Channel on the TV with lots of cartoons. The bed is fluffy as it is and it comes with the soft pillow which is fun to cuddle with. The clean linens the great bread with just suits me and we ended having a good sleep and refuse to wake up the following day. Argh.. That’s prove how nice is the bed right?
Not only that, Grace had her own small bed where she is happy about it and making her post sleeping there.
Coffee and tea is also available.
Well, they do have platter of fruits to be served to our bed too as well as the hi-speed complimentary wi-fi so I can have my Instagram posting done and getting me to do some work and surfing the net.
Comes to the washroom; huge washroom of course with both the bathtub and shower provided. Complete with mini sets of toiletery which inclides the soup, conditioner, and others.
I love having my self in the balcony looking at the greenies and listening to birds churpings
Not only that, you can pamper yourself with their spa treatment at Chi The Spa at Shangri-la Hotel where you can pamper yourself with a relaxing massage, facial and spa too. Some of the service includes Lucious Milk Bath for 20 minutes at RM250++;Rasa Rendam (RM150++/20 minutes); Chi Balance ( RM 420/1 hour 30 minutes); Balianese Massage (RM 270++/ 1hour) and more.
If you love to walk around at night at the night market or enjoying your meals at the Golden Sands Hotel; do experience their buggy service all day long where they will transport you to Golden Sand thru and flow for free. Well, you not only able to enjoy meals at Golden Sands but you can have a walk on the around the beaches or try off some excitement activities like banana boat and more there.
As for Rasa Sayang, do enjoy their great spas and also the food there where you van have a try of their nice delicious food at the The Spice Café; Ferringghi Grill and Lounge for some beers and cakes.
The stay in the Rasa Sayang Hotel is indeed bringing me a great experience which is unforgettable and the hospitality which is being provided is indeed a two thumbs up. It is such a great stay experiences here even with families or also with love ones.
