This round back to Penang is indeed an adventurous food trip compare to before. There are more new eateries blooming around Penang island. The new section of the town which is the Bayan Lepas is mushrooming with more new restaurants and they have lots more of eatery choices available. They have western, Chinese, and more. This time, we had the porridge Ju Lie Food and Beverage which is one of the shops there where they serve porridge and also steamboat.
Being that, we had the Mantis Shrimp Prawns which is the signature items there. The porridge is more to the Teowchew porridge where it’s like cooked rice added with soup with it. There is nothing to shout out about the porridge itself. The mantis prawn is pretty little on the bowl of porridge and it is slightly disappointed with it.
