The Sounds & Flavours of Venezuela is the latest cultural and gastronomic event organized by the Embassy of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela in Kuala Lumpur as the preamble of the 9th Venezuelan Week 2014 to showcase their incredible food diversity and cultural richness of the South American country.

From April 22 to 27, 2014, the cultural and gastronomic festival will be presented in La Boca Latino Bar, Pavilion Kuala Lumpur, offering a range of typical Venezuelan food such as the Pabellon Criollo, a traditional Venezuelan dish of exquisite combination of shredded beef, white rice and black beans; and the Asado Caraqueño, a delicious staple food of Venezuelan cuisine made with beef coated with a sweet dark sauce filled with flavour and irresistible aroma. This gastronomic festival is a tribute to the unique food found in villages’ cafes, city neighbourhoods and shoreline seafood shacks of Venezuela. Each food presented is a great Venezuelan classic, cooked and served adopting from age-old recipes and formulas that give each dish its distinctive flavour and quality.
