Locating at the corner shoplots along the same row as Fei Fei Crabs, Calabrese Cafe & Bistro is indeed a great place to visit where the restaurant brings you the simple and yet complete menu of the Europen fare. The restaurant is indeed a great place to visit for fans of European fare who is staying or working around the Kepong area. It is such a jewel for a great western dning here.

Our meal started with the Creamy Mushroom Soup (RM7.90) where the thick mushroom soup which is well cooked with four types of mushroom together where they have the button mushroom, shimeje mushroom, oyster mushroom and hitake mushroom in it. Boiled for hours till perfection, the creamy mushroom is then being topped with a spoonful of truffle oil and cream with it. The thick mushroom soup is indeed well blend and it gives us a creamy and smooth texture with the thick mushroomy taste with it.

Well, we also enjoy some quick snacks – Battered Calamari Ring (RM12.90) to bite on while waiting for the mains. The deep fried calamari comes well to our preference where the calamari is thinly breadcrumb and it is then deep fried till perfection. The taste is awesome with the classical blend of thee crispy texture of the breadcrumbs while inside remains in its juiciness. Accompanied together is the Fusion own made sauce where the sauce cine wurg the combination of the Thai Chilly Sauce together with a bit of butter and tobasco sauce with it.

Vongole Clam Spaghetti (RM18.90) comes well to our favorites where the spaghetti is being cooked al-dente and it is well cooked with the sweet essence of soup boiled from the clams. Tossed with the generous flavours of harlic, chilly flakes and clams, the taste is such a divine and suites to my liking. Each mouthfiul of the fresh clams comes well with the slurpy al-dente cooked spaghetti.

The pork ribs is one of the signature here. Calabrese Signature BBQ Pork Ribs (RM28.90) comes to our favorites and when it is being served, the smoky taste of the pork ribs had made us to have our saliva dropping. The pork ribs is being chargrilled and the process had taken up to 3-4 hours to get it prepared. The rack of pork ribs is well marinated with their secret receipe and the meat is juicy and tender. It is well paired together with the smoky bbq sauce which is made by the kitchen itself. The ribs had not enough for us as it is such a perfect dish to try out. Served together with the fried and some coleslaw together.

We ended with the Roma Margarita (RM16.90) where the pizza is being topped with the combination of meatball, honey tomato, mushroom, and mozarella and parmesan cheese toppings over tomato spread. The Oregano crust comes well with the crispy edges. Deliciously done with the scrumptious ingridients with it.

Not to forget, a sweet note after the meal- The Tiramisu. Famous Italian Tiramisu (RM9.90). The awesome desserts prepared with the soft texture and creamy blend of alcoholic touch. Each mouthful of the tiramisu is perfect; melts in the mouth with the light liquor blend.
