ISLAND SHANGRI-LA, HONG KONG PRESENTS THE PERFECT VALENTINE’S DAY CELEBRATION

Island Shangri-La, Hong Kong is offering a selection of dining options on 14 February 2014 to celebrate the most romantic day of the year.

Romance with a View at Restaurant Petrus



Guests can have an intimate meal in an elegant European-style dining room with the soaring skyscrapers and the beautiful Victoria Harbour.  They can experience this dreamy rendezvous and eight-course dinner menu specially prepared by Chef Frederic Chabbert at Michelin-starred Restaurant Petrus this Valentine’s Day.  The dinner includes seasonal favourites, such as Slow-Cooked Marans Egg Yolk with Sea Urchin and Oscietra Caviar, and Aveyron Roasted Lamb with Sweet Bread Tortellini, as well as two glasses of Ruinart Rosé Champagne.  Couples will also receive a complimentary gourmet gift.  The menu is priced at HK$5,888* for two persons.  Please refer to the appendix for details of the menu.

A Love Affair with Meat and Seafood at Lobster Bar and Grill 

Nothing could be more romantic than celebrating at Lobster Bar and Grill.  Guests will enjoy a candle-lit dinner and captivating jazz tunes, while indulging in a four-course dinner menu, including Heart-Shaped Lobster Tartare with Caviar Pearls and Wilted Greens, Seared Wagyu Sirloin with Corn Purée and Morel Mushroom Sauce and a Melting Heart with Warm Chocolate Sauce and Fresh Berries.  The menu is priced at HK$3,488* for two persons and includes a bottle of Rosé Champagne and flowers for the ladies.  Please refer to the appendix for details of the menu.

A Feast of Love at cafe TOO 



Cafe TOO will continue to showcase the best of international cuisine with a selection of its signature dishes.  The lunch buffet is priced at HK$428* (adult) and HK$328* (child), and available from noon to 3 p.m.  The dinner buffet is priced at HK$888* (adult) and HK$588* (child), available from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m and includes a glass of champagne for each guest.

A Japanese Valentine’s at Nadaman

Japanese food lovers will be enamoured by Nadaman’s special Kaiseki and Teppan dinner set menu priced at HK$2,888* and HK$3,088*, respectively.  The Kaiseki menu entitles guests to fresh sashimi, such as Tuna, Wild Yellowtail, Flounder and Ark Shell, as well as Kyoto Yam with Baby Abalone and Kagoshima Beef Teriyaki.  The Teppan set menu includes Teppanyaki Foie Gras with Yam Pancake, Teppanyaki Cod Fish with Sake Butter Sauce and Kagoshima Beef Sirloin and Lobster.  Both set menus include a glass of champagne per guest.  Please refer to the appendix for details of the menu.

Sweet Indulgence at Island Gourmet and Lobby Lounge



For an afternoon of sweet decadence, Island Gourmet and Lobby Lounge have prepared a special Valentine’s Day afternoon tea with warm homemade scones and delicately rendered pastries.  Ladies will receive a red rose.  Guest can also select from heart-shaped chocolate boxes filled with pralines to heart-shaped cakes and Valentine’s pastries at Island Gourmet.
