Chinese New Year is a time when families reunite, celebrate and feast.  According to Chinese tradition, the first day of the Lunar Year marks the start of the Spring Festival and ends with the Lantern Festival on the 15th day of the month. The celebration is jubilant and lively with the intention of taking a break from work and enjoying time with friends and family.

Situated on Sandakan’s prominent waterfront overlooking the Sulu Sea, is the  Four Points by  Sheraton Sandakan. As the second largest city in Sabah, Sandakan is located on the east coast of  Borneo Island and is fast gaining popularity as an eco-tourism destination in South East Asia. Located at level 13, The Eatery  –  the hotel’s signature all day dining  venue  –  welcomes you to experience the traditional Lunar feast with a wide range of sumptuous, authentic Chinese cuisine  that includes Steamed Red Snapper with Szechuan Hot Bean Sauce, Salt Baked Chicken with Herbs, Roasted Spice Duck with Sour  Plum Sauce, Roasted Lamb Leg “Xin Jiang” style with condiments and many more to tempt your taste buds. Priced at RM68++ per person, the buffet is  available from 3rd January to 28th February 2014, on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 6.30pm to 10.00pm.
