TEPPAN ALL THE WAY WITH TEPPANYAKI, MID VALLEY

October 4, 2013 By StrawberrY Gal - Food Review 1 Comment

Teppanyaki is well located in Mid Valley where you can enjoy lovely teppanyaki freshly prepared on the table for you. It has been a long time since I am dining for Teppanyaki and now we entered the Teppanyaki restaurant which is located at the lower ground of the mall itself. The Teppanyaki shop is simply packed but we still manage to get a seat out of it that day. Lucky us.

We had two sets of Teppanyaki which is the Chicken Teppanyaki and the Squid Teppanyaki. Here we go with the chef on action teppan-ing the vegetables which includes the beansprouts, chopped cabbage with garlic and sliced carrots. Then, we are served with the rice as well as the chopped minced chicken with it. Delectably tasty, it goes well together and juicy chicken meat which is being served together with it.
Price: RM 9.90

The squids is still the same with the chicken teppanyaki. The similar ingridients but it is basically using squids. The ingridients here are fresh which makes me falling in love with the tangy texture . It is just lovely and superb with the tangy texture that comes with it. The deliciously made teppanyaki is just good.
Price: RM 10.90

Last night I went to Teppanyaki @ LG Mid Valley Megamall with my family. Since the restaurant required us to order first, so we ordered 1 chawa mushi, 2 plates of Salmon Teppanyaki and a plate of Chicken Teppanyaki. After we entered the restaurant then only we realised that the floor was really messy and full with trashes like there were loads of them I swear I felt like swimming in the middle of the sea of waste products – the dirtiness was unimaginable . The service was so bad and lousy; we asked for the cutlery and only received them after talking to the third waiter because most of the waiters are foreign workers and couldn’t understand both BM and English which was really frustrating because we also had to repeat so many times what we’ve ordered. And then the food – the salmon was overcooked and very dry, the chicken and the chawa mushi (which arrived 30 mins later) tasted so rancid that I almost vomit. I felt nauseated for quite a long time and need to neutralise the taste by drinking a glass of lemonade. And the workers also didn’t bother to even smile or say thank you or please come again, just like what Sushi King waiters did when I came to their restaurant. You have great competitors around Mid Valley & with this kind of attitude you’re serving us, your restaurant could be closed anytime. Overall I don’t think the money were well-spent and worth it. This is my first and last time being here. I’m not coming to this restaurant ever again.

p/s: I want my money back
