MOONCAKE PROMOTION AT QING PALACE,PULAI SPRINGS RESORT, JOHOR BAHRU

August 29, 2013 By StrawberrY Gal - Food News Leave a Comment

Mooncakes are Chinese pastries traditionally eaten during the mid-autumn festival. The festival is for lunar worship and moon-watching. Today, it has evolved into a joyous celebration, an occasion to strengthen the bonds of kinship, friendship and business relationship. Children would light their colourful lanterns and join in the fun of the celebration.

Mooncakes are certainly about unity among family, and strengthening ties with friends, both personal and corporate. They make meaningful gifts.

At Qing Palace Chinese Restaurant, Pulai Springs Resort, the six classic varieties of mooncakes are handmade to a traditional recipe. These include the Pure White Lotus Seed Paste, Pure White Lotus Seed with Double Egg Yolk, Pure Lotus Seed with Single Egg Yolk, Pure Lotus Seed w/ Double Egg Yolk, Shanghai Pure Lotus Seed and Assorted Seeds & Nuts filling.
The mooncakes come in beautiful boxes which make great gifts for family members and business associates.
