PENANG FAMOUS CHENDOL, PRANGIN MALL

The small little corner at Prangin mall is indeed a nice place for a dine of the famous Penang Chandol as well as the laksa. The little corner of food is operated by the relatives of the famous Penang Chendol stall off Penang Road. Since we are in the mall, we do not hesitate to get a try of the food in there as well.

Ice Kachang is one of the item not to be missed there. The ice kachang in well smooth gratted ice and it is topped with the sarsi syrups as well as the rose syrup with it. The ice kachang is then covers with a variety of condiments like peanuts, chendol, red beans and more. The flavors bring a soothing and delectable taste which is not to be missed. It is sweet and savory where I love it so much and it so cool to enjoy them during the hot day.

We also ordered asam laksa for a try as well. The asam laksa was simply good with the thick gravy and the soft texture noodles which you hardly can find in KL. The soup with the generous amount of fish, onions, and cucumber is making the whole laksa so lovely and delicious. I am falling in love and can’t wait to go back to Penang for more laksa.
