PANGKOR VILLAGE SEAFOOD, TAMAN MEGAH

November 12, 2012 by StrawberrY Gal

Pangkor Village Seafood Restaurant is one of the places I had during my office Makan trip. The restaurant is located at Taman Megah and it serves a variety of seafood delights which is impressively nice. The restaurant is located at Taman Megah which is located just right opposite of the very famous Fatty Crab Restaurant.

We started off with the curry fish which is thick at its gravy and the overall taste is quite appetizing as well. It is well cooked with the delights of thick gravy and the portion is good enough. The gravy is more to the coconut gravy rather than those soury type. The ingrideints are plentiful which includes the tau pok, long beans and more.
Taste: 3/5

Next we had the kam heung prawns. The prawns are pretty fresh which is simply nice and the delighting. The prawns are also fresh as well with the great texture and it is well stir fried with the condiments with it.
Taste: 4/5

Calling next is the seasoning chicken with black sauce which is nothing much to shout about. The chicken is well seasoned with a light spiciness. The chicken meat is quite tender and I just love it too.
Taste : 4/5

Stir fried Kapar is nothing to shout about and it is just a normal stir fried with the kam heung leaf. There is not much meat for the kapar to me and portion is simply a small one.
Taste : 3/5

The deep fried home made tofu is something special to try. The tofu with the seafood ingridiendts are well made and being deep fried till pipping hot and it is then being served. The taste is good and I love the soft texture of it.
Taste: 4/5

Crabs is some of the unforgettable delights as well. The crabs are being steamed. Nothing special of it but it do serves a sweet soup which comes from the crabs as well as there is the eggs paste which is coming from the crab to taste. What I can say is the crab is simply fresh which I can give a thumbs up.

Taste: 4/5

Last but not least, we ended the meals with another version of crabs which is where the crab is being cooked with egg and chilly paste. The savory taste of the sauce is well absorb into the crab and the overall taste is simply lovely and good. I am just loving the freshness of the crab and the big sizes of the crab.

Taste: 4/5
