DRAGON GATE DIM SUM, KOTA DAMANSARA

November 26, 2012 By StrawberrY Gal - Food Review Leave a Comment

Being a lazy weekend, we hop to the Dragon Gate Dim Sum for a morning breakfast which is located just not too far from my house. Dragon Gate is conveniently located at the corner lot, facing the main road so it’s hard to miss. The restaurant is clean and tidy as well. We had some simple meals which filled up our tummy.

Beancurd Rolls and Shrimps where the beancurd are being wrapped together with the shrimps in betweeen and it is then being deep fried. I felt that it is quite oily for the deep fried beancurd and the serving is quite cold.
Taste : 1/5
Price: RM 4.20

We also had the Siew Mai which is very meaty as well. The texture is quite rough and the meat is not hot enough.
Taste : 1/5
Price: RM 4.20

Scallop dumplings is not in par to me because of the skin which is thick. The taste is still acceptable except for the thick skin.
Taste : 3/5
Price: RM 4.20

We had some char siew bao where the taste is still good with the fluffy texture of the skin but ingredients is slightly less. What I love is the siew bao are served hot.
Taste : 3/5
Price :RM 3.00 ( for 2)

We finished our meal with a Lo Mai Kai. The portion is not to big and it is just warm. There is not much ingridients in it as well.
Taste: 2/5
Price: RM 3.80
