SAKAE SUSHI, QUEENSBAY MALL

July 18, 2012 By StrawberrY Gal - Food Review Leave a Comment

Sakae Sushi in Queensbay is one of the outlet which is always packed with customers during the lunch as well as the dinner time. Every time I passed through the restaurant, it is definitely a long lining up in the restaurant. We are lucky that day where the waiting time is not too long.

Salmon Kabuto Shioyaki is one of our ordered in Sakae Sushi. Instead of teriyaki, we opt for shioyaki and this is where the grilled salmon head is being grilled with the salt and the overall freshness of the fish is there.
Taste: 3/5
Price: RM 13.90

Yakitori is a so called the Japanese styled satay where the chicken is being skewerd and being grilled together with the teriyaki sauce. This round, I felt the teriyaki sauce is slightly too sweet for my tastebuds.
Taste: 3/5
Price: RM 7.90

We also made an order of the Spicy salmon which is wrap with roll. The spicy salmon is well served with a slight spiciness with it. It is mixed with rice, cucumber and vegetable and being wrapped with the seaweed. As for the taste, it is nothing to shout out.
Price: RM 1.99/each

The Chicken Shiogayaki Don is one of the recomendation of the shop. This is where the sauteed chicken is being cooked with the ginger sauce and onions with it.
Price: 11.90

Last but not least, we had ordered the Salmon Shioyaki which is simply good where the salmon meat is fresh as well as tender as well. The taste of it is simply good too.
