THE GARDEN LIFESTYLE STORE AND CAFÉ, 1-UTAMA

May 9, 2011 by StrawberrY Gal

The Garden Lifestyle Store and Cafe Boutique have a nice beautiful interior. The restaurant is located at 1-Utama New Wing and this restaurant is decorated like a garden. There are many plants and the mood is going to somewhere in the Europe country.. But looks like I am dreaming. The menu sees Asian and local dishes like fried mee siam and nasi lemak, along with pastas and Western fare like braised lamb shank and grilled prime aged rib eye – all fall within an affordable RM15 – RM30 price range.

Seafood Tomyam Soup- It is served with hot and spicy tomyam. It comes with seafoods like mussle, squids and prawns. Simply a spicy delights.
Taste: 3/5
Price: RM 11.90

Caribon Fried Rice- Fried Rice which is served with satay and the rice is well fried The portion was a big one as well.
Taste: 3/5
Price: RM 12.90

Garden Black Pepper Chicken – The signature dish of the restaurant and is being recommended by the restaurant itself. The dish came with generous amount of black pepper gravy as well. The chicken was not too bad. Yet, I find the black pepper chicken lacked of black peppers. Slightly more would spice the taste up a bit.
Taste: 4/5
Price: RM 17.90

Turkey Pineapple Sandwich which is served with tukey ham, slice pineapple and cheese on a toast
Taste: 3/5
Price: RM 16.90

Spaghetti Carbonara is where the spaghetti cooked in cream, onion, beef bacons and mushrooms. It is slightly watery/
Taste: 2/5
Price RM 18.90

Chicken Teriyaki is where the golden style chicken teriyakin is served with French beans and mashed potatoes.
Taste: 3/5
Price RM 18.90

Longan Blast: A combination of Longan which is served with ice blended. A fresh taste and the delighting taste of it.
Taste: 3/5
Price: RM 10.90
