PAO XIANG BKT @ KEPONG

May 10, 2011 By StrawberrY Gal - Food Review 2 Comments

Pao Xiang BKT is no longer wonders and there are so many outlets in big malls like Mid Valley as well as in 1-Utama. Serving Bak Kut Teh in a small bowls is my first time hearing it. Is really surprising the BKT is serving in small bowls but not in claypot.

When I glance the menu, no price !! and i am thinking how much a bowl? There are choices of sui kuat, tua kut, pai kut, bak kut, sam chan bak , ka geng, teng kia, stomach, and more. You can find almost every part of the pig here. Wosh…

Something special is they do served seafood not prawns, or fish but they served expensive high class seafood like sea cucumber, shark fin and abolone bak kut teh.

“ Pork Rib BKT” in a small bowl is indeed weird. This is because the pork rib is not relly absorbed the bkt taste from the little bowl. The taste is nice just we felt we don have enough of soup.
Taste: 3/5
Price: RM 10

The sam chan bak Bak Kut The will be my order this time. The “Sum Chan Bak” is the belly where partly is fat and partly is meat. The portion is in bowl and soup is less. Taste is quite delighting with the herbal taste.
Taste: 4/5
Price:RM 10.00

The Yao Tiao is very nice. Crunchy and well deep fried. It is served hot which really makes me in love with it
Taste: 5/5
Price: RM 2.00/ pc

Another order we had is the choy sum. Fresh vege with oyster sauce
Taste : 4/5
Price: RM 7.00

    Hi All Eater,

    Date : 08/04/2012

I just visited your Klang Centro branch and had my worst experience ever in Pao Xiang.

I thought my experience in Pao Xiang Berkeley Klang is bad enough but the Klang Centro is the worst.

Very very regret I still give Pao Xiang a chance to proof it is a good restaurant to have a good dinner.

Will NEVER NEVER go to ANY PX BRANCH for myself and my family or my friend.

The food is still OK but the customer service at both shop is so terrible terrible terrible.

I being to Kepong Branch and the service there is GOOD.

Regret to visit PX and made my dinner such a ad experience. Rather go to any restaurant around than this PX.

    Regards,
    UNSATISFIED CUSTOMER
