Whe mention “Foong Foong”, most KLites will immediately think of Ampang yong tau foo (beancurd and vegetables stuffed with fishpaste). It’s so famous that it needs no introduction and being blogger by a lot of bloggers.

Business is brisk at lunch and you can tell which restaurant is good by its crowd. Service is fast and price is reasonable. For some this place may be a bit hot. The place is really a good place.

Foong Foong “yeong tau foo” is awesome, a truly heaven for fish and meat paste stuffing. Every bite into the variationg of different stuffing can be so delightful something I enjoy most and can be so addictive. There are stuffing of brinjal, beancurd, chilli, ladies finger, pastry wrappers and beancurd skin and more which is really nice. The yong tow foo here comes in various variety and is stuffed with a generous portion of fish paste.

Very nice fried yong tofu! But, very hot there in the afternoon. I also enjoy Heng Fatt Dimsum along jln besar at ampang. Shop No.33 i think. I always ate there when i younger. It closed many yrs ago and now reopened serving the same great food.
