RAINFOREST SPORTS AND BAR, PAVILLION

January 29, 2011 by StrawberrY Gal

Rainforest Sports and Bar is a nice place which I am called for a food review. The restaurant is being operated for nearly 3 year in one of the biggest famous megamalls in KL “Pavillion”. The place have pool table with LCD tv to accomadates for football matches. They are not only focusing on drinks but they did served nice and delighting fusion delihts. The chef with 10 years experience are being hired to serve the customer and I am really impress with their concept where they provide food for healthy living with no msg, low cholesterol oi; as well as their food are cater for personal taste buds. Why I say so? You can tell the chef if you love spicy, non spicy, or even moderate spicy.

The restaurant kitchen are certified HALAL but they do served liquor. They also do events for album promotion, family dinner for banks like standard Charted and more. As for menu, it changes evert 6 months inorder to give the customer a different choices of bites.

Aside, they also have some branches in other places like it Sunway Pyramid and more. Aside they do have serve on Thai delights which in some of the branches like Chakri Express, and Bangkok Connection which served authentic delights where Chef’s are imported from Thailand.

Wild Mushroom Soup is where the mushroom soup are being served hota nd is in a very special presentation. It really does not look like a mushroom soup from the front where the mushroom soup are served with a puff on top and I am simply amazed with the presentation. This is where the wild mushroom consists of fresh btter mushroom, oyster mushroom adn pune miushroom. The mushroom soup is blended from the starch and the taste is very thick and full with the mushroom smell. It is indeed very full with the mushroom soup and yummy.

Grilled Pepper Lamb Rack is served with a awesome presentation where it comes with the rostie potato and crust cheese for the furnishing. The lamb meat is being imported from Australia and it is cooked with a fusion style with cranberry sauce and mint sauce. As for the rostie potato, it is a combination of potato and chese where both are well baked. The crust cheese as the presentation is more to cheezel to me and the taste is really nice. The lamb is super juicy and the lamb taste is slightly mild as perhaps is because the cranberry juice had absorb in to the lamb.
Taste: 4/5
Price: RM 48.00

Pan Seared Salmon is indeed my favorite with the serving of salmon is fresh. The salmon is imported from New Zealand where it is well spice and pan-fried. The freshness of the fish is really indulging my saliva. It is served with mashed potato as well as frued leak as firnishing. The dish is also decorate with orange glazed. The salmon is well cutted and is pan fried and the skin of the salmon is crunchy aside of the juicy fresh salmon taste. I can taste the juiciness of the salmon and the freshness and there is no fishy smell as well
Taste: 5/5
Price: RM 36.00

Stuffed Chicken Parmigano where it is made from chicken breast meat and being stuffed with mushroom and cherry tomato as well as fresh sweet basil. The chicken is being layered where the top is tomato collis nad mozela chesse. Then, the grilled chicken is being baked together with tomato and mozella cheese till golden brown. The chicken meat is tender and the cheese is very pure and filling. The smell of the cheese is also strong.

Green tea Creame Brulee & Pistachio Served with Cranberry Sauce is a dessert which gives me an eye catching presentation. The green tea crème is being baked and pistachio us being sprinkled on the top with the cranberry sauce. The grean tea creame is being baked and pistachio is being sprinkled on top of the cranberry sauce. The taste is very sweet and is a special dessert
Taste: 3/5

Homemade Tiramisu with Rasberry Cullis is well made and the taste is very special. There are 3 levels of the cakes wgere one is creamy, but one of the layer melts in my mouth with a cooling taste which is the sponge finger and it melts in my mouth. The taste is really nice and tempating.
