HONG KEE MAH CHEE, IPOH

Hong Kee(芳记) is one of the most famous stall in Ipoh that sells the traditional Chinese dessert which is Mah Chee. The small stall had received a lot of compliments and features is newspaper as well the famous 8TV program “Ho Chak”.

Peanut Paste Dessert is having the right sweetness with a great texture which is smooth, creamy and fragrant. When they had just served, we can smells the delighting peanut taste from afar. It could be tasted of the real silky peanut blend taste

Mua Chee which is also one of the famous one selling here. It is cooked to a sticky mass and the stall owner pinches the dough and it mix piece by piece on the tray with a lot of groundnut mixture of pounded peanuts, sesame seeds & sugar.
