LITTLE PENANG CAFE, THE CURVE

October 5, 2010 By StrawberrY Gal - Food Review Leave a Comment

The Little Penang Cafe serves local dishes at a clean and comfortable environment as well as a reasonable charges. The restaurant is located at The Curve the same row from Sakae Sushi and Xian Ding Wei. The interior is giving me a feel of back to the 80’s where there is as much as Penang old time kopitiam. It is usually packed during dinner and lunch and you have to wait for your seat.

Asam Laksa- The simply Penang Asam Laksa can be find here. The asam laksa is simply alike Penang style where they comes with prawn paste and a thick Laksa Soup The portion was a large one as well. The taste is simply delighting but not much too sour compare to the original Penang Laksa. There are also plenty of ingredients in it as well.
Taste : 4/5
Price : RM 9.80

Prawn Mee – The prawn noodles is a big portion of choices of mee, bihun or mix. The prawn soup is quite thick and sweet. The sambal is not much spicy and the taste is quite nice as well.
Taste: 4/5
Price: RM 9.80

Red Ruby– The red ruby which is the Thai delights where the combination of nangka as well as waterchessnut dyed in red and serves with santan blended with ice. The portion was big and is heavy dessert as well due to the santan taste .
Taste: 4/5
Price: RM 4.80

All prices are subjected to 10% service charges and 5% government tax.
