SENG LEE CAFE, BANGKOK LANE

July 15, 2010 By StrawberrY Gal - Food Review Leave a Comment

Seng Lee Cafe which is located along Jalan Burmah off Bangkok Lane is already well known for the Indian Muslim Mee Goreng. Aside many famous one which is there like Jones Road Mee Goreng and more, this Bangkok Lane Mee Goreng had been featured in The Star Newspaper and more. I had been having the Mee Goreng ever since I am a kid. The Mee Goreng stall can be said as the main tenant of the Seng Lee Cafe, located in Bangkok Lane, Penang. The shop hadjust painted not long and it is cleaner and brighter look now

Bangkok Lane Mee Goreng is famous, for about 80 years now. Fried with lots of marinated, and soft cuttlefish, potatoes, bean sprouts etc, the moist “mee goreng” is different from the usual. The spicy mee goring had becoming many favorites.
Taste: 5/5
Price: RM 5.00

Ban Chang Kuih Stall is also located there. The Ban chang kuih is added with the groundnuts. Not much delighting but is still can be munched in my mouth.
Taste: 2/5
Price: RM 0.80
