Soon Yuen Koay Teow Thng

June 21, 2010 By StrawberrY Gal - Food Review Leave a Comment

Soon Yuen coffeeshop is one of the famous coffeeshop for Koay Teow Th’ng. The shop offers a delighting offering of the chee cheung fan as well as the duck meat koay teow thng. By the way…… it is quite hard to get a car park around this area especially during weekend as there are markets there in the morning. Perhaps you should go there early and also sometime you need to wait for your seat as it is very crowded in the coffee
shop.

The food here i can say is simply nice and I really in love with the koay teow here. The koay teow is smooth and delighting and the taste is simply ichiban. The delighting koay teow is smooth and the taxture is nice. The soup is served hot and it is cooked with duck bones. This makes the soup taste nice. One of the specialty here is the fish ball are home made fishball which is tender and a much a nice one to try.

We also ordered a plate of duck meat to share. the tenderness and sweet duck meet is indeed my favorite and it is a must for me whenever i am there. The duck meat is well made and cut. The taste is superb and a thumbs up

Another thing which is a MUST is the Chee Cheung Fan. The delighting taste of chee cheung fan with the sweet sauce and the prawn sauce is a superb. The ingridients is a lot and they are not stingy. A nice one which must try here
