Steamboat @ PENANG LANTA SEAFOOD, Kepong

September 17, 2009 by StrawberrY Gal

All of a sudden was thinking to have steamboat and dear recomended the one in Kepong which is said to taste kinda nice. So, we headed down to Kepong to have steamboat. The shop is not actually a steamboat shop but it also provide with seafoods as well. This shop is locates around the housing area.
We had the steamboat the first time there.

So,in the list, there are a few choices of steamboat soup to choose from normal soup, herbal as well as tom yam as well…and i had choosed the tom yam.

The meal arrived not that fast .. but still consider is waiting time list since there is a number of customers. They help us to setup the steamboat set and we had them readily setup. Then comes the big bowl pot of soup which i don expect it should so so big bowl… and was shocked looking at the big bowl of tomyam soup. The soup is not the same as those steamboat restaurant which they served with the tomyam paste but the tom yam here is brewed by its own.. and the taste is really different and a bit spicy.
I get the taste of it which is really delighting. 🙂 the soup…

Not long, the ingridients for the steamboat had arrived which include prawns which are big fresh prawns, chicken meat, fishballs, taufu, mushrooms, vege and many more. It also comes with a plate of bihun or me up to your choice as well as egg. Overall the taste is really nice and yummy.

Besides, the food here is real yummy and fresh. Other than that, the soup is also very nice and delighting which i can describe in one word which is ho chak … and it is much much recomended.

Taste: 5/5
Price: RM 12.90/ pax
