1977 Ipoh Chicken Rice @ Midvalley Boulevard

February 1, 2009 By StrawberrY Gal - Food Review Leave a Comment

The restaurant is spotted when I and Carol when searching for food and we decided to give it a try on their opening day itself 🙂 Apparently, this is a branch from the infamous Jalan Gasing Chicken rice. The chicken rice is pretty good. The bean sprouts are fat, short and juicy. There are set lunches and their solo serving of chicken rice set includes bean sprouts, chicken (you can choose either roasted or steamed chicken), soup and rice or porridge or noodles. Nope..no drinks included. It’s a deal at RM7.80. There are other set lunches that serves more people too.

There goes the Leong Cha which is quite nice.. and is about RM 2.80 per cup.. and the taste is not that sweet..

We also ordered this the chicken leg kerabu.. which a bit sour where the chicken leg skin is taken out and add with lemon and some onions… oishi oishi…

and here comes the set with taugeh and the oishi chicken….

It is situated at the boulevard area. Opposite Starbucks and Saka Bar. The food is nice and the service is fast and good.. Recomended… i love there and i always go there for chicken rice when i am thinking to have dem.. yummy…
