Tangerine @ The Face Suite

December 11, 2019 by StrawberrY Gal

It is one of our favourite spot when it comes to the beautiful view of KL. Relish the quintessential rooftop fine dining experience here where one can enjoy the scenic view of Kuala Lumpur City View with the evening sunset. The place brings you with not just a beautiful view but it brings you with great dining experience as well.

1st Course : Carpaccio of Halloumi

When it is served, the Carpaccio of Halloumi is so beautifully done with the Kohirabi, dehydrated black grapes, pickled petal, wild fern and fennel seed dressing. The taste is just awesome and refreshing. Love the beautiful presentation.

2nd Course : Roasted Butternut Squash Puree

Choose your choice either to have the Foie Gras Au Torchon or Roasted Butternut Squash Puree. As for me, I choose to have the Roasted Butternut Squash Puree. This is where, one can enjoy the Crab Fritter together with the smoked herring roe, and olive cream.

3rd  Course :Grilled Octopus Tentacle

As for the third course, one can go for the Grilled Octopus Tentacle or the Truffle Risotto. Being a fans of seafood, the grilled octopus tentacle is definitely my choice. Using only the octopus tentacle, they are beautifully grilled till perfection leaving you with the juicy bites. It is served together with the asparagus confit, courgette pearl and the Roma tomato concasse. The dish is just awesome and each mouthful is heavenly good.

4th Course
‘300 DAYS GRAIN FED’ WAGYU CHEEK
6 hours slow cooked, shallot merlot, baby yam, sesame pea mousse

One can choose from the 1/2 Maine Lobster, Japanese Wagyu, “300 daysGrain Fed” Wagyu Cheek, “Free Range” Lamb Rump or Atlantic Halibut.

“Free Range” Lamb Rump
Sumac dust, soft parsnip, rosemary Brussels sprout, clove jus
JAPANESE WAGYU (Additional charge at RM100)
(Additional charge at RM100)
Russet pave, balsamic glaze endive, beetroot marmalada
1/2 Maine Lobster

I am having the 1/2 Maine Lobster where we are served with the juicy lobster meat together with browned red radish and the catalann picada. One can add in with Japanese Wagyu with just additional RM 100. The dish comes perfectly good and addictively delicious and every mouthful is heavenly.

5th Course: Selection of French Cheese.

One can enjoy the wide variety of French cheese. For those who are big fans of cheese, you will definitely enjoy the House Baked Croute, Toasted Wild Nit, Grape and Berry as well as the New Zealand Honey Comb.

6th Course : Tarte Fine or Chocolate Luxe.

Good food is surely to ends with some sweet bites. Enjoy your choice of sweet delicacies where one can have the choice of Tarte Fine or Chocolate Luxe.

The Tarte “Fine” comes complete with the local farmed fig, almond bavarious and pistachio sorbet. The desserts comes simply refreshing and I am loving the bites of it. Very refreshing and delicious.

For chocolate lover, go for their Chocolate Luxe where the desserts comes with the Tangerine Jello, “Opalys” Semifreddo, and Pecan Croquant.

And for those who are looing for an opulence indoor area and casual outdoor seating that overlooking the Kuala Lumpur City View, Tangerine is of course  one of the best dining venue for intimate candelight dinner . The 6 course set dinner is priced at RM 438 nett per person.

As Christmas is coming, one can also book a table and celebrate with your love one here at Tangerine
