SHANGHAI FEATURES DISTINCTIVE RICE DUMPLINGS THIS DRAGON BOAT FESTIVAL

The glutinous rice dumplings are synonymous with the Dragon Boat Festival. Shanghai restaurant at the JW Marriott Kuala Lumpur continues its tradition of creating mouth-watering Zong Zi, as they are known in Mandarin. This ancient fare consists of perfectly steamed glutinous rice wrapped in bamboo leaves and stuffed with delicious sweet or savoury fillings.

Master Chef Wong Wing Yeuk introduces two speciality dumplings this month. Iberico and Salted Egg Yolk Glutinous Rice Dumpling is a delectable savoury dumpling filled with ingredients such as Iberico belly meat, salted egg yolk, dried scallops, mushroom, chestnut, sliced black bean and white and black glutinous rice.  What’s so good is they use Iberico Pork in it!  Sides with it is of course with the pipping spicy chily sauce which is
For those who prefer their dumplings sweet, Chef Wong has also created the exquisite Sweet Osmanthus and Five-Bean Glutinous Rice Dumpling, a colourful creation of five-coloured beans and  sweet bean paste, served with a homemade Osmanthus syrup. Whats more unique is they are using Sweet Osmanthus  to dipped with the dumpling. It is indeed brings up the overall taste of it.
Aside, enjoy their awesome dim sum from the menu as well. They have a variety to go for.

All this are specially delicious and good which serves you a good meal.
Available until May 30, Shanghai’s and Salted Egg Yolk Glutinous Rice Dumpling is priced at MYR 46 nett each and the Sweet Osmanthus and Five-Bean Glutinous Rice Dumpling at MYR 29 nett each. These dumplings are available for dine-in and take-away.
