Kim Kee Noodles (金记面家) @ Selayang Jaya : Delicious Claypot Yee Mee

July 5, 2016 by StrawberrY Gal

Another new venturing place in Selayang Jaya where food are quite a lot in the township. This round we went for some food search and we found Kim Kee Noodle 金记面家. Located by the side of the road; you can find a stretch of tables and chair laid and with the big signage on their menu ; you can see everything and what they served.
They have from pan Mee, Curry mee, Yee Mee and more ; make your orders and they served you in less than 10 minutes. There is no fancy decoration or don’t expects any aircond. Assured of sweating during the meals if you are there.

Claypot Yee Mee (RM 6)
Cooked in the claypot; the yee mee is soaked in the pork base soup; together with some cabbage, pork meat, and also the pork ball. Topped with a raw egg on top. When arrived, stir the raw egg together with the noodles and the soup; and enjoy every mouthful of the flavourful dish. The yee mee remains its al-dente texture and the soup comes sweet and flavourful

Curry Mee (RM 5)
Need some kick of spiciness; try their Curry Mee. Served with the choice of noodles either a yellow noodles, bihun or both and have them with
the tau pok, long beans and the fish balls in it. Add some chilly to make it more aromatic and filled with the kick of spiciness in it.  Just perfect for a good meals.
