HONG KONG SHENG KEE DESSERTS @ 1 UTAMA

January 14, 2015 by StrawberrY Gal

SHENG KEE
Hong Kong Sheng Kee had opened a few months back in the busy shopping mall here in 1 Utama. Being one my favourite shopping place, I notice there are so much of new openings in 1 Utama (new wing) and one of them is in Hong Kong Sheng Kee Dessert.

SHENG KEE

Contrary to its name, Hong Kong Sheng Kee Dessert offers more than just beautiful desserts. The menu also features a savoury selection of Hong Kong snacks, dim sum and rice dishes, as well as some of the Hongkie beverages.
SHENG KEE
Sheng Kee’s Snowy Char Siew Bun (RM 6.90) served with the chunks of juicy, sweet yet savoury BBQ char siew in the soft golden bun. Stuffed with the generous portion of meat, the Char Siew Bun comes good but the taste is too sweet to my likings.
SHENG KEE
HK Carrot Cake (RM 5.90) is indeed well done with the perfect crispy outer layer with the starchy centre. Dipped it with a little chilly oil, the taste comes with blend of light spiciness.
SHENG KEE
SHENG KEE
Yolk Custard Bun (RM 6.90) is another item which is worth to try off. The soft pau stuffed with the homemade custard yolk sfillings brings you with the creamy yolk oozing out. Nicely done!
SHENG KEE
Add some bites of HK Siew Mai (RM 5.90) with the plump prawns with the juicy pork in it. Topped with a wolf berry on top, it is well steam till hot and the taste is a good one too.
SHENG KEE
For me , I love the Salmon Skin with Pork Floss (RM 5.90) comes heavenly with the combination of crisp salmon skin and it is then being topped with the pork floss and it is being drizzled with sweet plum sauce. The salmon skin comes pretty crispy and yet addictive with the crunchy bites of it.
SHENG KEE
One of its signature – Braised Pork Belly with Mui Choy Rice (RM 13.90) is served with the braised pork rice with the salted vegetables. Bringing you the combination sweet & salty flavours, the home cooked delights with the huge pieces of pork belly was not the melt in your mouth.
SHENG KEE
If you love to grab some noodles, try their SK Signature Combination Noodle (RM 16.90) is served with the honey glazed caramelized char siew, plump prawn wantons and dumplings.
SHENG KEE
End yourself with some desserts, try their Yuen Yang Paste (RM 6.90) and the SK Mango Pamelo Sago (RM 8.90). The Yuen Yang Paste (RM 6.90) comes with the combination of the black sesame and Chinese Almond Soup where it is simply a classic combination.
SHENG KEE
Mango Pomelo Sago (RM 8.90) is ended with the refreshing cold end to your delights. Using the Philippines mango into their desserts, the mango pomelo salad comes with the light and yet refreshing blend which brings the rich, creamy and cold temptations.

If you are in 1 Utama, you can visit Hong Kong Sheng Kee Desserts with the excellent selections of Hong Kong delights and most of all they serve dim sum all they long.
