BLU MED, THE GARDENS: BRINGS FINE DINING TO AN AFFORDABLE PRICE

Blu Med, nested in the admist of the bursting centre of the Boulevard Mid Valley presents us a perfect destination for both the casual as well as formal dining experience. Opening in less than 1 year, Blu Med had refurbished their menu and give in with more food choices at an affordable price.The extensive menu is indeed eye-capturing and it is worth to checkout.

We started with the Blu Med Salad. Their signature greenies salad which is well drench with the sweet soury sauce as well as topped with the fresh seafood on to it. This is added with the fresh prawns and mussels. Added on top is also the celery stick and apple vanaigrette dressing which gives a great blend of the refreshing taste with it.

If you are a big fans of prawns, the Aglio Of Prawns is one of the good choces to have. The mild delights from the classic spinach garlic prawns is well cooked with the fresh parsley and olive oil. It is then being served together with the together with the toasted bread. The generous amount of prawns added in the spicy garlic sauce with the chilly oil blend is just a perfect one to enjoy in your meals.

Lamb Patty & Spicy Tomato Sauce is another signatures from Blu Med. The combination of minced lamb which is added with the carrot, salary and onions added in to meat and finely chopped to make it into patty. Pan fried them and it is later being oven once the patty is being well marinated. The patty brings the light spiciness and the lamb itself still remains the juiciness and tender texture of its meat itself.

Cooked al-dente, the spaghetti squid ink is sinfully addictive with the unique squid ink sauce and the dish is well served with the bed of fresh seafood on top –from the squids, clams and mussels. The spaghetti Vongelo Bianco is one of the Italian favorites in Blu Med. Topped with the Littineon clams, th spaghetti is well cooked in white wine sauce leaving the fragrance refreshing winery taste. Alongside, the chef added the strings of chilly on top to bring the light spiciness into the dish.

Quattro Formaggi , one of the signature item in Blu Med. The thin crust pizza topped with the mozzarella cheese, Taleggio , Gorgonzala ( Blue Cheese) and Parmesan cheese, it just perfect for cheese lover. Comes with the honey to pour on top made the pizza amazingly good and superb too.

For fish lovers, you can find the signature Blu Med Fish & Chips in it. Bringing you a large portions of the golde deep fried fish fillet being which is paired together with the Cajun flavoured potato wedges and served together with the lemon and basil mayonnaise.

Desserts to filled up our tummy to the end of the surperb meals. The rare cheese cake is where the non-baked cheese cake is well made with the cream cheese and mascobhove cheese. Served with the strawberry sauce and the mixed fruit together the dessert is perfectly moist and melted my heart with the fragrant cheesy smell.

We ended with the banana parfait. The simply a girl’s favorite desserts where the chocolate cake and banana is well paired together with the vanilla and chocolate ice cream. A sinfully addictive dessertt which is just heavenly to end the sweet meals of the day.

Blu Med Sangria, is also one of the signatures cocktail here. The twist of wine with the added cutted fruits in it is just a perfect for a great enjoyment of the day.
