One World Hotel Petaling Jaya is delighted to announce the appointment of Chris Niuh Ban Hock as General Manager effective July 2017, replacing Ho Hoy Sum who has moved onto another exciting opportunity.
An established leader in the hospitality industry, Niuh brings with him 20 years of experience within the hospitality industry. In his new role, he is responsible for the continued success of the hotel, overseeing the day-to-day operations and providing exceptional guest service at the historic property.
Formerly, the certified hotel administrator (AHLEI) was the area General Manager for Berjaya Langkawi Resort, Langkawi and Georgetown City Hotel, Penang for 4 years. The veteran hotelier began his illustrious career at Sheraton Perdana Resort, Kedah in year 1995 as a Recreation Manager.
He then rose from there and went on to hold key management positions in several other distinguished hotels as well as resorts namely Sunway Lagoon Resort & Pyramid Tower Hotel, Holiday Villa Hotel, Nirwana Gardens Resort, Bintan, Indonesia to name a few.
