SOUP RESTAURANT, 1 UTAMA

July 12, 2012 by StrawberrY Gal

Soup Restaurant specializes in more than just soup. This place boasts of homecooked meals and family recipes and the restaurant now is having a outlet now in 1 Utama shopping mall. the restaurant is indeed well decorated with small cubicals for families and the restaurant is indeed giving me a pleasant dining with family too. The restaurant is indeed well located and there is a very nice ambience which I love it as well.

Samsui Ginger Chicken is indeed a dish which we fall in love with it. This is indeed a unique Chinatown cuisine where they are using the village chicken to prepare them. It is prepared in the same traditional way as the Samsui Women did in the olden days. The dish is indeed fresh and tasty and the texture is also very chewy as well. It is served with the garlic paste together with it and you can have it either with rice or wrapped them with the lettuce leaves. The chicken meat is indeed tender and the taste of it is so delicious which I would like to have more of it.
Taste: 5/5
Price: RM 38 (S) / RM 68 (B)

We also have the Ah Por Fan Shu Leaves which is not spicy. If you like to have a mild spiciness with it, then you may need to choose to have Ah Kong Fan Shu Leaves. The plain sweet poatto leaves with black soy sauce. It is well stir fried and the texture si indeed quite good .
Taste: 5/5
Price: RM 15.80

Another speciality we had is the Hometown Tofu which is where the simple dish is made by the freshly handmade tofu and it brings back the taste of the olden days. The dish is indeed a good simple meal and the tofu indeed smooth and well made.

Taste: 5/5

Price: RM 14.00

Steamed “San Yu” Fish Slices is indeed very good and very delighting with the fresh fish emat which is being served together with it. The fish is well seasoned and being steamed and the fish texture is really smooth and delighting which we love the mostr
Taste: 4/5

Price: RM 20.00
