Set to be one of the hottest chill-out and dining spots in the city, Doraku opens in Kuala Lumpur, the first outside of the US. A taste of something extraordinary, this latest trending international F&B concept from USA is brought to Malaysia by Hafez M. Hashim, the CEO and Founder of HMH Group in Malaysia. Partnering with Doraku in a unique collaboration, Hafez Hashim is well-versed in the new culinary era in Asia, bringing this new gastronomically exciting experience for Malaysians.

Doraku showcases an exciting mixture of modern cuisines, blending the best of Eastern and Western influences which entices customers with a burst of flavours that has set trends in the contemporary food adventure scene in the culinary world today. Set within a chic and trendy ambiance, Doraku features delicious Japanese food served up with a twist of Latin and Asian flavours.

The Executive Chef of Doraku is the talented Yutaro Tsuchiya who was mentored by Japanese Iron Chef Hiroyuki Sakai. Having cooked for many celebrities such as Tiger Woods, George Bush, Beyonce, Eminem,  Black Eyed Peas, Shakira, Julio Iglesias and Anna Kournikova, to name a few, his master culinary skills helps create masterpiece food innovations prepared with fresh and fine quality ingredients.

Doraku’s menu of sumptuous culinary selections will satisfy every foodie in the city. Serving cuisine created with exquisite taste and mouth-watering flavours, Chef Yutaro is specialised in traditional Japanese cuisine and creating innovative dishes.

Mouth-watering Signature rolls to look out for as Chef’s recommendations are the Emperor Roll, God of Fire, New Style Doraku Roll, Doraku Roll, Salmon Maki, Negitoro, Philly Roll and Spider Roll.

“The concept of Doraku is simply an approach in the contemporary food scene that blends many different flavours, spices, and herbs. We enjoy exciting our diners with creations customised carefully to tantalise every taste bud! I feel that each creation in the menu is different than the other, which makes Doraku so special!” said Chef Yutaro.

”One of the specialities of the restaurant is the impressive beverage list in which different types of drinks are served and some are even customised to suit food pairing and individual taste. We are known for our selection of beverages, specially the sake. With one of the most extensive sake menus that are hand selected, the exceptionally flavoured sake provides customers with a range of their preferred taste and selection,” added Chef Yutaro

As sharing is part and parcel of the Malaysian culture, Doraku offers the sharing platter in large generous portions, combining different foods and varieties of sorts, giving everyone a chance to taste different dishes with their friends and families.
